The HairMax LaserComb utilizes Laser Phototherapy that generates visible light in the red spectrum, which has been clinically proven to successfully treat hair loss and stimulate the hair follicles to promote hair growth. 1) By invigorating the hair follicles: The laser light increases the amount of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the fuel of the living cells that eventually make up the hair shaft within the follicle. How does lasertherapy work?

To appreciate how it works, you need to understand the basics of how hair grows and replaces itself in its natural cycle. Every hair on one’s head usually grows for several years and then falls out.
The root then rests for some weeks before starting to re-grow a new hair. This cycle continues throughout our lives.
